The Fellowship Team shall be responsible for planning, producing, and presenting fellowship activities in the church to fulfill all of the specific qualities of life that fellowship in its true sense brings to the Christian. Fellowship by its definition would require that opportunities for companionship, sharing, taking a part with others with similar interests, brotherhood, incorporation, and the sharing of intimate details and needs with confidants in a comfortable, convenient setting be provided for all who have the need and desire to participate in such activities.
Mutual support and strengthening of every person is a very key goal of fellowship. Fellowship is more than just gathering together for a cup of coffee, a meal, or a chat session. It must become a place where one can empty out spiritual, physical, and/or material baggage in the security of confidentiality.
Special interest groups, special needs groups, support groups, etc. are very important and integral parts of fellowship. This team will be responsible to provide and fulfill these needs as they come into focus in our church and/or community. This may be accomplished by:
Small Groups
Elective classes for special needs and/or interests
Social opportunities for new comers and visitors
Support groups to surround persons with special needs
Opportunities for the church family to come together as a family and just simply enjoy one another in love.
