The ministry team will be responsible to provide for the care of needs. The most simple definition of this team would be “needmeeters”. There are always needs among our constituency that are not being met by the person who has the need, nor by any organization within the community. This team will be always vigilant and on the search for any such needs. Ministry is more than preaching the gospel, providing testimonial witness, etc. It involves a much more holistic approach. This team must be aware of the needs of the entire body, both individually and collectively.
The Ministry Team must always be searching for people with special needs in the community and determining a method of meeting those needs. Ministry needs may range for monumental difficult, expensive tasks to very simple, easy, inexpensive chores. There are always needs within a community that are waiting for someone to fulfill. Some examples are:
Transportation of shut-ins to appointments, etc.
Odd job chores around the home of the elderly and/or widowed
Providing assistance to single parents
Providing interim care for families that need caretakers
Providing medical screenings, etc.
Benevolence efforts
This is by no means an exhaustive list. The needs are many and varied and can be located and cared for by an alert and responsive team of caring individuals.
