The worship team is organized to provide assistance to the pastoral staff in development of the worship services. They will be involved in worship planning in the area of themes, drama, media use, illustrative material, etc.
Worship themes will be planned on an annual basis.
Worship themes will be developed around the 5 purposes of the church in such a way as to maintain a balanced worship schedule.
Worship shall be both instructional and inspirational
The worship team would be responsible to meet with the pastoral staff each year during the last quarter of the year to plan the general worship themes for the coming year. They would then need to meet quarterly to do specific planning for each week of services. They would then need to be involved, monthly and/or weekly to provide the specific elements to make worship a vital life-changing experience for all who attend.
Worship style will also be something that this team will address periodically.
It will be necessary for this team to work closely with the Music committee in all phases of worship.
